For new residential and renovation design

RECENT DESIGNS: SIMS / STRANAN ARTS & CRAFTS STYLE HOUSE, CABLE BAY ROAD, NELSON. Amended 28/8/2002

North East amended view
Approach to this multilevelled home on a steep forested ridge overlooking Cable Bay Valley and Hira.  A blend of North American Arts & Crafts style with 1920's New Zealand (Anglicised) "Californian Bungalow" to create familiarity and rustic home-made charm for this great Lifestyle block.

North West amended view
Timber lapped weatherboards with a bandsawn face are used with boxed corners and window facings of the same material. Traditional corrugated iron roofing but Factory coated for durability. Timber fascias and Bargeboards with shaped ends in the Bungalow manner.

South east View amended
Windows in aluminium joinery but divided into rows of casements and fanlights for the Bungalow look. Gables boxed out and finished with timber shingles and completed with the obligatory "Dentil" blocks emulating extended ceiling joist members.
